“A kiss on the hand may be quite continental.. but diamonds are a girl’s best friend.”
Well, I’d venture to say that Tacori is a girl’s best friend! Diamonds Direct hosted the biggest Tacori trunk show this past weekend (to date) and invited the Indy Blog Society join in on the sparkling fun!
Tiffany, Cartier, Harry Winston… we all know and love these names. Tacori company was established in 1969 and sold pearls. They expanded into diamond sales by 1990 and now they are one of the hottest names in bridal jewelry. The bachelor TV show featured their engagement rings which brought major awareness to the brand. All the pieces are handcrafted in their California studio. I first heard of Tacori when my best friend from college, Tara, got engaged. Needless to say, I fell in love. I couldn’t have been more excited when they reached out to the Indy Blog Society. Learning and playing with jewelry? The party couldn’t come soon enough.
“The French are glad to die for love…they delight in fighting duels. But I prefer a man who lives and gives expensive jewels.”
Champagne and mimosas were awaiting our arrival at the trunk show. Oh yes.. we are definitely in the right place. I was very impressed with how welcoming and friendly every single person on the Diamonds Direct staff was. They checked the Indy Blog Society members in and then lead us over to my favorite section – the Tacori bridal line.
“But square-cut or pear-shaped, These rocks don’t lose their shape. “
Shimmering, sparkling, glamorous eye candy galore! Each Tacori engagement ring starts at 2 carats. Each design is intricate and radiant. One of the staff members from Diamonds Direct graciously walked us through the different clarity, color, and cuts. Personally, I love them all but partial to three stone settings. I felt at ease with all of the staff members that walked our group through everything. I could tell that they were extremely educated and understood the product well.
Look at Kelli from Big Hair and Foodie Fare rocking MULTIPLE carats. Yessss girl! Gimme all the diamonds!
Kathryn and I enjoyed learning how to examine a diamond. It allowed a true understanding of the intricate details that make each diamond unique. We looked at the inclusions, abrasions and cavities. Don’t we look official? I feel like this is the equivalent of “I’m wearing glasses.. do I look smart?” Yes smile and say yes 😉
Tacori offers a fashion line in addition to the bridal line. We were loving all of the different gems and designs. Kelly Dukes, Tacori rep, was so much fun to work with! The fashion line allows you to enjoy the brand in different styles. Bonus – the price tag is great. Check out these stunning earrings that Sierra from Eclectic Kurves is rocking. They were designed by a celebrity (name could not be disclosed) and included a matching necklace for a full set.
Thank you, from Indy Blog Society!
I wanted to extend a huge thank you to Diamonds Direct – Indianapolis for having us for the fantastic Tacori show! Kelly was a gem (dad joke – pun intended!!) to work with. We had so much fun learning and shopping. Ratanya from Bubly Noel even picked out her wedding band! How exciting!! I had such a special experience and will be back soon.
