Oh Look! It’s me and the best mother in the entire world! Ok, maybe I am a tiny bit biased.. but It’s most definitely true. Mother’s Day is rapidly approaching this weekend (May 14th!!!). You have procrastinated long enough! If you need a few creative ideas.. I have you covered.
You’re either the Dad, or the Grandfather planning this day. Already played the spa gift certificate for Christmas? No worries! I’ve got you covered.

This is an experience that is fun for the whole family. Scavenger hunts about zoo mothers and their babies, tasty treats, and many photo opportunities are available. These activities are FREE with park admission! For more information, please see the Indianapolis Zoo website. Pro tip: Go Early, this will be a very popular event.
Kid-friendly brunch on the north side – two locations – Zionsville and Noblesville. They do take reservations for Mother’s Day but only by phone or in person. They have a great selection of brunch items that your little ones will love as much as you do. For more information, you can view their menu on their website.
Indian’s Baseball Game
The Indianapolis Indians are playing an early game on Sunday, starting at 1:35pm. The weather looks to be about 74 and sunny.. perfect! Kids eat FOR FREE on Sundays! Wine and Canvas – Mother’s Day Edition
If you are not familar with Wine and Canvas.. you must live under a rock. Just kidding.. kind of. You pay for the class, the place provides all your supplies, canvas, and a teacher! You will paint like a pro with your mother. Wine and Canvas is offering three different classes on Mother’s Day. I love the “Be My Sunshine” painting. Like most other events.. be sure to book this ahead of time or you may be left out.
If you are looking strictly for brunch, I encourage using OpenTable to assist!
