“Let’s go shopping!” a common phrase among women alike, right? As someone who is “straight” sized, I never considered the lack of options for my curvy friends while shopping together. I love that more retailers have hopped on board – Target, Kohls, Meijer, Charlotte Russe..the list goes on. Local boutiques are slowly joining the party as well. When one of my blogger boos, Sierra from Eclectic Kurves, invited me to her shopping event at Endeavor Boutique, I immediately added it to my calendar and the countdown began.
Now, most of you already know that I am not a fashion blogger. I own three of the same pairs of black pants. Not that I don’t appreciate all of your creativity, I’m just not that gal. Thankfully, Sierra has KILLER style. I asked her to pull some cute items before I even arrived. No problem!
Endeavor is located in Carmel, IN. It’s near city center. There is parking outside of the building or in back behind Graters. The event was from 5-8pm, and I arrived at 6. The place was already filled with people shopping and sipping.
Endeavor is one of the few boutiques in Indiana that offers a curvy girl line. I love that Sierra and I can truly shop TOGETHER at this store. If I were to go Torrid, I’d be limited to shopping in the accessory part of the store, and vice versa for any straight clothing store. I love that it is a very inclusive environment. The owner said she noticed a need in the market and decided to give it a shot. I love that Sierra and I could try on outfits together and in the same shop.
Endeavor offers a wide range of clothing options from casual Indiana-themed t-shirts to outfits for a night on the town. I love the items on this mannequin that Sierra styled.
I felt like every time I looked at a table, or shelf that I discovered something new. They have everything from jewelry, scarves, to fun little knick-knacks. You can definitely find the perfect present for any occasion here.
My favorite section – go figure – was the Indiana themed box of t-shirts. Everything from cute designs to support your local high school, to the ever-so quirky “We <3 Roundabouts” shirt poking fun at the Carmel roundabouts.
The environment was very fun and relaxed! Everyone shopping was in high spirits. The staff was very helpful and familiar with what styles flattered different body types Not a single person left empty-handed.
Thank you Sierra and the Endeavor team for putting together such a fun, fantastic event! I’ll definitely be popping back in to shop again soon.
